Beyond the Uniform is a multimedia platform dedicated to sharing real stories of student veterans as they navigate the transition from military service into higher education. While many veterans retain discipline and resilience when entering the classroom, the difficulties they face in accessing GI Bill benefits combined with the challenges in adjusting to civilian life remain unresolved. 

Through interviews with veterans and FIU Campus Leaders, Beyond the Uniform provides authentic insights on the support systems available for veterans and gaps that remain in their transition. This platform invites viewers to explore the voices of individuals as they navigate challenges and successes shaping their journey into life beyond the uniform.
